United Parish of Alpena

"O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His loving kindness endures forever." Psalms 118:1

Worship services are held each Sunday morning at 10am. Sunday School is also held at 10am from Mid-September through May.

Our youth enjoy times of togetherness and keep very active within the church. They present a Christmas program each December as well as an Easter program in the spring.  The children are full of life and questions about the Lord. We have a wonderful group of teachers and high school youth to lead the littlest members of our church. In 2014 we were fortunate enough to have NeSoDak Day Camp come for an action-packed week of music, games, crafts and worship.   Outlaw Ranch, a church based organization, will be holding the bible camp, July 5-10, 2015 at the Alpena Community Center.

Our church has an amazing group of women who support the congregation in so many ways. The United Methodist Women meet each month to study God's word and to enjoy fellowship. They serve our church by serving at funerals and community dinners. We are grateful for their ministry.

The Alpena United Parish is a merged congregation which consists of the previous Bethlehem United Church of Christ and United Methodist Church. Our community is very blessed to have this wonderful place of worship where everyone is welcome!
